OVERVIEW
The email marketing tool featured here is a high-performance platform designed to allow businesses to take full advantage of the potential of email marketing by providing features, functionality and flexibility to deploy high-volume, yet highly targeted campaigns. Campaigns deliver the right message to the right person, at the right time period.
CHALLENGES
Think Design needed to conduct enquiry and Data Analysis to find user Concerns, Tasks and Goals. Mockups needed to be developed to get early feedback from user and stakeholders, considering this was the first time client was seeking design intervention. Walkthrough presentations were made to understand navigation and task flows. Usability testing with the business users was conducted post implementation and usability report was generated.
Think Design worked closely with strategy team and applications architects in building the software product design strategy. Think Design personnel interacted with actual users through enquiry, during mockup stage and usability testing. The design was successfully implemented and documentation helped in other Product lines as well.
WHAT DID THE CLIENT ASK?
The main challenge that was put before us was the user experience issues that propped with the addition of new features. More features made the navigation more complex, which needed to be simplified. Main challenge was to check the usability issues and redesign the entire application interface.

PROCESS OUTLINE
SOLUTION
With the challenges clearly defined, Think Design started design by conducting a usability test to find the actual difficulties faced while interacting. This gave us a clear picture of the issues, main being the navigation and interface look and feel. This helped us define task flows and finally helped us simplifying navigation.
As our main challenge was to incorporate the navigation to fit in the application, our team coordinated with the development team and delivered the storyboards documenting the flow. With a continuous interaction with the development team in while coordinating design implementation, we gave an intuitive experience to the product.
