Think Design helped Visiontek design develop the First and only PCI PED certified Point of Sale terminal ever by and Indian Manufacturer.

Being a electronically and mechanically complex product, this product required stringent design process to be applied and followed in the process of product development. Further, the product being targeted mainly at Indian merchants, required insights into Indian Usage scenarios in order to identify key opportunities

DESIGN FEATURES

The product is designed to be used as a table top version as well as a hand held version. This unique proposition fits quite well in Indian Scenario where space is at a premium.

User Interface of the Physical interface (buttons and screen) as well as software screens are intuitive and simple to follow

The construction of product is robust and sturdy Mechanism of Paper roll cover is prone to severe abuse. This terminal has a sturdy mechanism (with an option to disengage the cover when user does not require it)

Privacy screen for additional security while typing PIN Intrusion prevention details, mechanically and electronically addressed.

Replaceable transparent Key covers on buttons to prevent dust.
