RETAIL DESIGN FOR BURN

Burn is a energy drink from the house of Coca Cola beverages. Though succesful in the other markets, the company was sceptically looking at India launch, given the pricing of the product and a segment already cluttered with offerings from competition.

Think Design was asked to develop an ardent retail identity program for the brand and propose solutions to position it as a “Premium” brand and at the same time, make it inviting enough to the consumer. Think Design designed display and dispensing systems that were low on merchandise and high on visibility. Further, the merchandise was displayed at a convenient height to grab from.

Burn was thus succesfully launched in June 2010

Clockwise from top: 1) Burn mass display unit, installed at Big Bazaars. The unit was fabricated with premium specifications and contained only one row of merchandise. This provided welcome relief to consumers moving in an otherwise cluttered space and it proved to be a winner for the company as the brand was highly visible and products were easily accessible. 2) Burn customized visi cooler: Installed in Big bazaar outlets at strategic corners, this provided cool drink to the consumers for immediate consumption and at the same time, was highly visible as well as accessible. 3) Burn can dispenser: Dispensers were strategically located at check-out counters for immediate impulse purchase. Again, it was extremely simple for the consumer to pick a can from this dispenser
