VISIONTEK Electronic Voucher Distribution 12E (EVD) is an application software that manages online process of credit top-up of airtime. It greatly simplifies the process of Prepaid Recharge with a centralized control of information and real time reports, saving valuable time that would otherwise be spent on logistics like printing, dispatching, stocking, availability and tracking of recharge cards.

CHALLENGE

Think Design was assigned with the task of making the application simple to install and simplifying the management of mobile top up and recharge to terminals (installed at various retailer locations). From the ground information available, critical challenge of this project was to solve navigational problems and improve the visual design of entire application. The task involved evaluating existing user interface with respect to competitors, locate and analyze usability bottlenecks and design intuitive user interface in order to speed up tasks for the user.

SOLUTION

Think Design determined needs of the client and user to conceptualize the design. Focusing on the problem areas, Think Design examined the application and grouped the necessary information. Post investigation of problem areas, we gave the client with alternative design suggestions that can improve the user experience of the product.

Considering client’s constraints in development, Think Design suggested development of a Desktop and a Web application, and provided design options for the same. As the application manages the process, our design direction was towards the key features and the user’s actions in those areas. Organizing the information and freezing the navigation made Think Design solve complexities of overall experience.

Think Design detailed user interface screens and storyboard with click through presentation supported with specification document. Think Design also coordinated with development team in getting the design pixel perfect.
