GMR E Van
Think Design played a pivotal role in realizing Varalakshmi Foundation of GMR’s vision of empowering rural people of Rajam District through a unique model, “mobile resource center”.
The project was conceptualized as a mobile vehicle carrying changeable information material that would carry insights about personal hygiene, education, government schemes etc., intended to empower rural people and provide information and help for better quality of life. Think Design, as part of the programme, conducted field research, focus groups, interviews and presentation with volunteers and stake holders apart from visiting various other initiatives developed by GMR group to internalize the subject.
E Van, launched in 2007 January has become hugely succesful in realizing the objectives. It has at the same time, become quite popular among the masses
