KLF Nirmal launches range of refreshed packaging design

KLF Nirmal, India's second largest coconut oil brand, has launched its refreshed identity and packaging designs. Think Design played a pivotal role in strategizing packaging identity and realizing them across 14 different SKUs and variants. With the launch of refreshed identity, KLF grew stronger in its key markets and gained further visibility, aspirational value and user confidence. "Key challenge here was to appeal to KLF's prospective new consumers and at the same time not ignore its already perceived values by existing consumers. We did this by formulating what we call Ten Commandments of creating Coconut Oil packaging design ... through extensive consumer, trend and trade research"


Design Mile award for “Future Bathrooms”

Design Mile Magazine, APRIL 2011

Dipesh Parmar of Think Design wins Home Review Design Mile award for “Future Bathrooms”. As part of his competition entry, he designed a future bathroom that uses resources judiciously in order to conserve waste water and re-use it for flushing. Laboring over the fact that a single user utilizes atleast 50 litres of water to perform basic grooming practices, of which 20 litres are flushed down the drain with every shower or bath, he decided to do something that would provide people an option of expending less water at the end of the day.

VIDEOCON ULTRASLIM TELEVISION RANGE LAUNCHED

21 OCTOBER 2010

Videocon launched its new range of Ultra Slim Television. Think Design helped the client design develop four such televisions. The project involved Think Design to understand and analyze trends and movements in consumer electronic market, map the future possibilities and propose directions for movement of Videocon range.

Among other methods, the process deeply involved Trade Research, User Research and Trend Research.

Excerpts from the article: Coca Cola Burn entered the growing energy drink market with its new drink Burn. The chic and young personality of the produt was reflected in the state-of-art POP displays at retail, Coca Cola deployed a Floor stack unit (FSU) made of wood. The Burn logo, i.e. the flame and the name burn were stylishly carved at the center and the floor stack aesthetically stocks the product.The Floor stack with its gigantic size and suave design culminated to be a high visibility retail design element.

BURN ENERGY DRINK LAUNCH: THINK DESIGN'S INTERVENTIONS

Think Design helped Coca Cola India in the launch of its prestigious brand, "Burn". Our design interventions were in the form of Floor Standing Units (FSUs), Customized Visicoolers, Table top dispensers etc., While it was important to position this product as a "Premium Soft Drink", it was equally important to achieve high visibility and usability, given that this segment is cluttered with offerings from competition.

Think Design achieved this by going low on merchandise and high on imagery. Further, SKUs are placed at a convenient height to "grab" easily and aid in immediate impulse purchase. For further details, click here

Godrej U & Us launched

10th May 2010

Godrej inaugurated its first U&Us store at Thane, Mumbai. U&Us is a new line of business under the umbrella of “Godrej Interio” with unique offerings that didn’t exist in Indian furniture market before. Think Design’s intervention in the project started when the “idea” was originally conceived till the successful launch of the product line.

Currently, more than 1000 product combinations are being offered in six varied platform designs totaling about 96 unique product offerings. Entire project was completed in a period of 18 months. For further details, click here

Colorbar Shop in Shop

01st April 2010

Colorbar’s shop in shop was unveiled in March 2010 at Hyderabad Central. It was strategically planned and centrally placed around an existing pillar to create maximum impact. The challenge was to maximize the planogram in the limited space available. Also, it was required to design the shop in shop in such a way that it can stand by itself without taking any support from the pillar inside it. Think Design’s engineers worked out a unique structural solution to the challenge.

Visiontek Biometric POS terminal

Think Design is proud to announce the release of Biometric Point of Sale Terminal, by Visiontek. It is one of a kind product which ensures transaction through finger print authentification. It comes with in-built finger print scanner is specially designed to address NREGA, Microfinance and PDS Segments with biometric authentication for beneficiary transactions. The finger print sensor has been conveniently placed for easy user access, by positioning it at the highest point of the device and top-right corner for convenience.
